We moved from SoBe to The Caribbean in April and WOW do we ALL miss you all at The Dog House!
We took Puki to one of the few Vet/Groomers here, and we are not going back.
We were told he was 'unruly' and had to be sedated! after forking over $120 my husband and I were dismayed by his mediocre cut and still had to re-trim his nails! Puki is indeed sensitive about his toes, but he never bites and I find it hard to imagine him needing drugs for a shampoo!
So, we really want to *THANK* The Dog House, because not only do we know how much Puki loved to walk in that door, we always felt safe leaving him in your care.
I can see for myself how calm and relaxed he still is about his trims, especially now that Mummy does them at home! He stands tall and still like a little soldier and lets me (albeit amateurishly) cut all his hair! and we owe that to you guys at The Dog House!
But we are all still a bit squirmish when it comes to his toes. I am curious, what approach would you, Yuka, recommend I could use at home? do you subscribe to the filing vs clipping method?
sincerely,
Candi, Jason & Puki
